Hysteria Shaders
by ElocinDev
Hysteria is ElocinDev's follow-up to Insanity, and the headline is performance: the same oppressive, fog-choked horror atmosphere, rebuilt so it runs on integrated graphics and ancient laptops. That matters, because horror modpacks are usually heavy already and the shaderpack is the first thing to get cut. Highly customisable, genuinely unsettling. AGNYA licence — download from the author's page.
How to install Hysteria Shaders
- 1Install a shader loader for Minecraft 1.7.10 – 1.21.3 — Iris (pairs with Sodium) or OptiFine.Hysteria Shaders is a shaderpack, so it needs a loader to run.

.zipfrom the button above — keep it zipped. ElocinDev’s licence doesn’t permit re-hosting, so that button takes you to the official modrinth.com page — always the newest build, straight from the author. - 3Drop the .zip into your
.minecraft/shaderpacksfolder (%appdata%\.minecraft\shaderpackson Windows,~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/shaderpackson macOS). - 4Launch the game, open Options → Video Settings → Shaders, and select Hysteria Shaders.
Performance & what to expect
Hysteria Shaders is rated potato performance impact. It is the lightest tier we host — it runs on integrated graphics and older laptops. It renders atmosphere. The look is cursed and fantasy.
