What you need

• Oak Planks×2
• Stick×4

Worth knowing

• Four sticks with two planks down the middle, the exact opposite of the fence layout.
• Yields only one gate, and both planks must be the same wood type.
• Gates open by hand or by redstone and let you through a fence line without breaking it.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
