Complementary Shaders — Unbound
by EminGT
Unbound is what happens when EminGT stops holding back. It shares Reimagined's engine and its famously deep settings menu, but drops the vanilla-faithful constraint: skies get dramatic, fog gets volumetric, and the colour grading leans cinematic. If Reimagined is Minecraft with the lights done properly, Unbound is Minecraft as a fantasy film. Pick whichever matches your taste — they perform almost identically. The licence forbids re-hosting, so we link to the author's official page.
How to install Complementary Shaders — Unbound
- 1Install a shader loader for Minecraft 1.7.2 – 26.2 — Iris (pairs with Sodium) or OptiFine.Complementary Shaders — Unbound is a shaderpack, so it needs a loader to run.

.zipfrom the button above — keep it zipped. EminGT’s licence doesn’t permit re-hosting, so that button takes you to the official modrinth.com page — always the newest build, straight from the author. - 3Drop the .zip into your

Performance & what to expect
Complementary Shaders — Unbound is rated medium performance impact. It wants a mid-range dedicated GPU. Drop render distance a few chunks if you fall below 60 FPS. It renders colored lighting, atmosphere and shadows. The look is fantasy.
