Rethinking Voxels takes Complementary Reimagined as a base and rebuilds the lighting around a voxel representation of the world, so every torch, lantern and lava pool throws correctly-coloured light with genuinely sharp shadows. It is the closest thing to ray-traced lighting most people can run without an RTX card, and it made an enormous impression when it landed. Expect it to ask more of your GPU than its parent pack. It inherits the Complementary Agreement, so we link rather than mirror.

How to install Rethinking Voxels

Performance & what to expect

Rethinking Voxels is rated high performance impact. It is demanding — treat it as a showcase pack rather than a survival daily-driver, and expect to tune render distance. It renders colored lighting, shadows and path tracing. The look is fantasy.

Rethinking Voxels is created by gri573 and published under its own Complementary Agreement terms. We link to the author’s official download rather than mirroring it — the pack is theirs, and its licence asks that it stay that way.
