What you need

• Oak Planks×5

Worth knowing

• Five planks in a U shape, all of the same wood type; the boat you get matches the planks you used.
• Overworld woods only - oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry and pale oak (1.21.4+). Crimson and warped stems have no boat at all.
• Bamboo is the other exception: bamboo planks make a raft, not a boat. A boat seats two, so a player plus one mob.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
