How to Make Oak Fence in Minecraft
Top row: Oak Planks, Stick, Oak Planks. Bottom row: Oak Planks, Stick, Oak Planks.
What you need
- Oak Planks×4
- Stick×2
Worth knowing
- Four planks with two sticks down the middle give three fences of that wood.
- Each wood has its own fence recipe, so all four planks must be the same type.
- Fences count as one and a half blocks tall, so mobs cannot jump them but they block you too.
- The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
Where to get the ingredients
2 of the ingredients are crafted rather than found. Here is where each comes from.
