What you need
- Oak Planks×8
Worth knowing
- Eight planks around an empty centre slot; filling the centre breaks the recipe.
- Any plank type works and they can be mixed, but the chest always looks like oak.
- Two chests placed side by side merge into a double chest with 54 slots.
- The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
