How to make Furnace
What you need
- Cobblestone×8
Worth knowing
- Eight cobblestone around an empty centre; blackstone or cobbled deepslate work just as well.
- Smooth stone will not work here, it must be the cobblestone-family blocks.
- Smelts ore, cooks food and turns logs into charcoal; also the base for smokers and blast furnaces.
- The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
