• Five string in a 2x2 block with a fifth string alone in the bottom-right corner, producing two leads.
• Java 1.21.5 and earlier used four string plus one slime ball in this same shape; snapshot 25w18a, shipped in 1.21.6, swapped the slime ball for the fifth string. Check your version before hunting slimes.
• Two and a half string per lead, so a stack of string from a spider farm is a lot of leads.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
