What you need

• Oak Planks×6

Worth knowing

• Six planks in a three-wide, two-tall block give two trapdoors in Java Edition, not three.
• All six planks must be the same wood type, the same as with doors.
• Wooden trapdoors open by hand; iron trapdoors need a redstone signal.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
